Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds, extraneous material, litter, leaves, compost and any other prohibited organic material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignment is to be treated with an appropriate insecticide by dipping or fumigation or spraying.

If leaves are present a fungicide treatment must be applied.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
