Each plant must be labelled with genus and species.
Plants are to be on authorised transport support media (see New Caledonia Schedule of authorised support media. eg. peat, perlite, vermiculite, coconut fibre, sphagnum moss) 0.5-0.6 L maximum, new and non adhesive to root system;
OR
Young plants to be set in square cups (9 cm X 9 cm maximum, corresponding to 0.6 L of medium) or in a round pot of 10.5 cm maximum diameter (corresponding to 0.5 L of medium);
OR
Bare rooted washed plants.
Consignment is to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide by dipping or spraying.
Where media is used:
- Media is to be treated with an insecticide and nematicide not more than 15 days prior to export.
