Applies to import permits which require freedom from the pests Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium), Stewart's disease (Pantoea stewartii), Maize downy mildew (Peronosclerospora maydis), Sorghum downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sorghi), Sugarcane downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sacchari), Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinensis), Corn smut (Ustilago maydis) and Head smut of corn (Sphacelotheca reiliana).
Will apply if the state biosecurity agency certifies the source area or region as free from both Corn smut and Head smut of corn.

Applies to import permits which require freedom from the pests Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium), Stewart's disease (Pantoea stewartii), Maize downy mildew (Peronosclerospora maydis), Sorghum downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sorghi), Sugarcane downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sacchari), Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinensis), Corn smut (Ustilago maydis) and Head smut of corn (Sphacelotheca reiliana).
Will apply if able to certify freedom from Corn smut and Head smut of corn by both crop inspection and wash test. The kernels must also be heat treated at required rates.

Will apply if the whole kernels are devitalised at the required treatment rates.
