Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packagingand clearly labelled with the botanical name.
Packages must be free of litter, soil, leaves, compost or any other prohibitedorganic material.
Consignments presented in commercial packaging who weight of bare seed is greater than 100 grams per unit are to be treated with an appropriate fungicide at recommended manufacturer's requirements.
Non-commercial consignments are to be treated prior to export with an insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturer's requirements
- No evidence for treatment is required even if the import permit requires treatment.
- The country of origin as well as the phytosanitary certificate number from the country of origin must be listed in the Additional Product Description with the following format: "COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: XXXX CERTIFICATE NUMBER XXXX". Contact EXDOCPlantPrograms@agriculture.gov.au in order to enable this field.
- The phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin must be presented to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
