Packages must be free of soil, plant material or animal material.
 
Bulbs must be dry, not germinated, without roots or soil.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of endorsements:

For Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae) a crop inspection certificate or an area freedom certificate is required to meet endorsement 3476. The issuer must endorse the pest free status of the product by including the pest free declaration on the certificate.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement No 3476)

1) Field of production is free from Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae).

2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of visual symptoms of Onion powdery mildew (Peronospora destructor).
