The
phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin, or a certified copy of the phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin, must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
 
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Important Note for AOs, ASE and Exporters

The Phytosantiary certificate from the country of origin must contain a 'field freedom' declaration for Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae) for an EX25 form to be issued.

Declarations such as 'free', 'found free'and 'inspected and tested' for Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae) are not sufficient.

The certificate must attest to the field of production in the country of origin being free from Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae).

If there are questions or concerns about the declaration contact the Horticulture Exports Program.

1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of visual symptoms of Onion powdery mildew (Peronospora destructor),
