Purity Certificate: batches of seed whose purity certificates indicate more than 3% content of seeds from one or several prohibited species, and more than 15% of inert substances will be rejected. Note: This requirement is the responsibility of the exporter and is not endorsed on the Phytosanitary Certificate or assessed by the Department.
Non-commercial consignments are to be treated prior to export with aninsecticide and fungicide applied either by dipping, fumigation or dusting atrecommended manufacturer’s requirements.
Commercial consignments presented in packaging of more than 100 grams per unit do not require insecticide treatment while still requiring fungicide treatment.
