This ICR only applies to Valerianella locusta seed for re-export from the Netherlands. Valerianella locusta seeds to the EU not for re-export should be exported under the EU seeds for sowing (Other) case.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.

Explanation of the endorsement:
  • Visual inspection is sufficient for endorsing freedom from Trogoderma spp.
  • A crop inspection certificate is required for endorsing freedom from Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Witchweed (Striga spp).

1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Trogoderma spp.
2) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Broomrape (Orobanche spp) and Witchweed (Striga spp).
