Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Citrus root nematode (Tylenchulus semipenetrans, Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis) and Citrus spreading decline nematode (Radopholus citrophilus) are not on the citrus seed export pathway. Freedom from this pest may be endorsed without citing supporting evidence.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1409)
1) Black root rot (Chalara elegans), Citrus stubborn (Spirolplasma citri), African greening (Candidatus liberibacter africanus), American greening (Candidatus liberibacter americanus), Pierce's disease (Xyllela fastidiosa), Citrus exocrotis viroid, Satsuma dwarf virus and Citrus yellow mosaic virus are not known to occur in Australia.
2) The consignment has been inspected and/or testedaccording to appropriate official procedures and is considered to be freeof Citrus root nematode (Tylenchulus semipenetrans), Burrowing nematode (Radopholussimilis) and Citrus spreading decline nematode (Radopholus citrophilus).
