Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

This Micor case applies to all non-stockfeed consignments of canola to Nepal, including consignments exported under import permits which list the end use as 'consumption'.

Explanation of the endorsement:

  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans), Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Light leaf spot (Pyrenopeziza brassicae).
  • If the import permit indicates no requirement for additional declarations, a phytosanitary certificate with no additional declarations is to be issued.

1) A representative sample was tested and found free from Black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans),  Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Light leaf spot (Pyrenopeziza brassicae).

Import permits dated 12 January 2024 and 19 October 2025.
