Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Small commercial packets of flower and vegetable seeds may be imported without an import permit at the Discretion of the Director of Quarantine.

If an import permit is issued, then a copy of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of making an appointment for an inspection.
