Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments must be packed in new and clean packages which state the country of origin and description of the produce.

All fruits and vegetables which transship through countries infested with fruit fly species, other than Mango fly (Bactrocera frauenfeldi) or other quarantine pests of concern to Nauru are prohibited unless they are maintained in the original packaging and are sealed in such a way that there shall be no risk of exposure to such pests.
