Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 4774:
  • A laboratory testing certificate may be sighted to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Crazy top (Sclerophthora macrospora).
Endorsement 4775:
  • A crop inspection or area of production freedom certificate may be sighted to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Crazy top (Sclerophthora macrospora).
Endorsement 4778:
  • A combination of crop inspection, laboratory testing and area of production freedom certificates may be sighted to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Crazy top (Sclerophthora macrospora).
Endorsement 6547:
  • A laboratory testing certificate may be sighted to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).
Endorsement 6548:
  • A crop inspection or area of production freedom certificate may be sighted to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The exporter is responsible for ensuring the consignment is accompanied with the original ISTA certificate (when specified on the import permit).
If stated by import permit consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers' requirements.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 4774)
1) A representative sample was tested and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Crazy top (Sclerophthora macrospora).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 4775)
1) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Crazy top (Sclerophthora macrospora).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 4778)
1) The seeds for sowing in this consignment have been inspected and/or tested in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae) and Crazy top (Sclerophthora macrospora).

Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 6457)
1) A representative sample was tested and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).

Option 5 (EXDOC Endorsement 6548)
1) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae).
