The conditions for Myanmar have changed. An import permit is now required for all exports of plant and plant products.
The Myanmar National Plant Protection Organisation (NPPO) has begun issuing import permits (import certificate for plants/ plant products). Effective 1 October 2017, a copy of the import permit must be presented at the time of making an appointment for an inspection with an Authorised Officer.
If you receive an import permit that does not match MICoR please forward to MicorPlants@agriculture.gov.au, MICoR will be updated upon receipt of this information. Please allow up to 5 days for new MICoR cases to be created.
The exporter is responsible for ensuring that they meet all export requirements. Please contact Myanmar's NPPO for further information.
