Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material. 

A copy of the Import permit must be presented at the time of making an appointment for an inspection with an Authorised Officer.

When using EXDOC Endorsement No 4851, a combination of crop inspection, laboratory testing and area of production freedom certificates may be sighted to endorse freedom from Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae) and Chloris striate mosaic virus.

Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

The exporter is responsible for ensuring the consignment is accompanied with the original ISTA certificate when specified on the import permit).

Note: Avena orientalis is the synonym of Avena sativa.

Option 1 EXDOC Endorsement 4811)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of Ergot (Claviceps purpurea),
2) A representative sample was tested and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae) and Chloris striate mosaic virus.

Option 2 EXDOC Endorsement 4812)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of Ergot (Claviceps purpurea),
2) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae) and Chloris striate mosaic virus.

Option 3 EXDOC Endorsement 4851)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found to be free of Ergot (Claviceps purpurea),
2) The seeds for sowing in this consignment have been inspected and/or tested in accordance with appropriate official procedures and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae) and Chloris striate mosaic virus.
