Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


 Explanations of the endorsements

Endorsement 6719:
Until the detailed information is specified on the import permit, the harmful organisms may be assumed as live stored product injurious insects. Freedom from live injurious stored products insects may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate based on visual inspection by an Authorised Officer.

The consignment is to be fumigated onshore prior to export with an appropriate fumigant at manufacturers recommended rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

 Details of treatment to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.
