- Maize chlorotic mottle virus and Bacterial wilt of maize (Pantoea stewartii subsp. stewartii) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
- An area freedom certificate is required to endorse freedom from Ear rot of corn (Stenocarpella maydis) and Dry rot of maize (Stenocarpella macrospora).
- A crop inspection report is required to endorse freedom from Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda). The Authorised Officer must also inspect a representative sample of the consignment to verify freedom from all life stages of Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda).
