Note: Exporter must add the below point in the product description field of the RFP.
“The plants of this shipment are produced at the production site of (name of the nursery and its address) in Australia".
To enable the additional product description field on the RFP the exporter must submit a request to the EXDOC Plant Programs via email (EXDOCPlantPrograms@aff.gov.au).
To attest to point 2 of the endorsement; Morrocco requires blueberry plants to be tested for Blueberry shoestring virus (BSSV) and Tomato ringspot virus (ToRSV) regardless of the exporting country status and laboratory test results must be presented to the authorised officer at the time of the inspection.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 6287)
1) Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa) and Blueberry leaf mottle virus (Nepovirus myrtilli) is not known to occur in Australia,
2) The blueberry plants were tested and found free of Tobacco ring spot virus (TRSV), Blueberry shoestring virus (BSSV) and Tomato ring spot virus (ToRSV)
3) The blueberry plants were inspected and found to be free of Agrobacterium tumefaciens,
4) The blueberry plants are produced in a nursery officially approved by the Australian NPPO and sent directly to Morocco from the aforementioned site,
5) The blueberry plants have been treated with broad spectrum insecticide prior to export.
6) During packaging and shipping, the blueberry plants of this consignment have been protected from all phytosanitary contamination.
