Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of Endorsement

Endorsement 7665:

1) An area freedom certificate is sufficient to endorse freedom from Bean yellow mosaic virus.

2) A laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Pea seed-borne mosaic virus and Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi).

3) Visual inspection by the Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda).

If stated by import permit, consignments are to be fumigated with an appropriate fumigant at manufacturers' recommended rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Bean yellow mosaic virus is known not to occur in the area of production,

2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Pea seed-borne mosaic virus and Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi),

3) The consignment was inspected and found free from Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda).
