Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
The consignment must be treated prior to export with:

  • Captan at 72 – 144 grm a.i. / 100 kgm of seed;

OR

  • Thiram at 80 – 160 grm a.i. / 100 kgm of seed;

OR

  • Carboxin at 80 grm a.i. / 100 kgm of seed;

OR

  • Triadimerol at 45grm a.i. / 100 kgm of seed;

OR

  • Tiabendazole at 90 grm a.i. / 100 kgm of seed;

OR

  • Carboxin at 60 grm a.i. and Captan at 60 grm/litre a.i. / 100 kgm of seed;

OR

  • Metalaxyl-M at 10.36 – 14.8 grm a.i. / 100 kgm of seed.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The consignment is free from Bacterial leaf stripe of sorghum and corn (Burkholderia andropogonis) and Root rot of sorghum (Periconia circinata).
