The seeds must be packed in new, clean and closed containers and must contain the name of the seed, its quantity and country of origin.
Consignments are to be treated prior to export as follows:
Hot water treatment must be followed by treatment with one of the following broad spectrum fungicides:
- Immersed in hot water at 50 degree Celsius for 30 minutes.
Hot water treatment must be followed by treatment with one of the following broad spectrum fungicides:
- Mancozeb at 250 g of A.I./100 kg of seeds;
OR
- Fludioxonil (2.54-4.99 g of A.I./100 kg of seed;
OR
- An active ingredient or a mixture for controlling Alternaria brassicicola and Alternaria japonica in radish (Raphanus sativa) seed at approved label rates.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 5989)
1) Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola), Dark leaf spot of crucifer (Alternaria brassicicola) and Pod spot (Alternaria japonica) are not known to occur in the area of production.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 5990)
1) The crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola), Dark leaf spot of crucifer (Alternaria brassicicola) and Pod spot (Alternaria japonica).
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 5991)
1) Consignment was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial leaf blight (Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola), Dark leaf spot of crucifer (Alternaria brassicicola) and Pod spot (Alternaria japonica).
