Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

The plant material must be without symptoms or signs of damage caused by insects.

The packaging or materials used to transport the consignment must be new, for first use, duly sealed and labelled with traceability data (origin, variety, number of cuttings, production date, packing date).

The plant materials are subject to post-entry quarantine requirement on arrival in Mexico.


Consignments must be treated with an appropriate broad spectrum pesticide at manufacturers label requirements.


The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 6389)

1) Citrus canker (Xanthomonas citri) and Mango scab (Elsinoe mangiferae) are known not to occur in Australia.

2) Parent plants were inspected during active growing season and found free of Leaf blight (Stemphylium vesicarium), Pineapple disease (Ceratocystis Paradoxa) and Root and stem rot disease (Globisporangium splendens).

3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Apple canker (Botryosphaeria ribis), Bacterial gall (Rhizobium rhizogenes), Bacterial leaf blight (Xanthomonas campestris pv . Mangiferaeindicae), Banana spotting bug (Amblypelta lutescens), Banana spotting bug (Amblypelta nitida), Canker of almonds (Botryosphaeria dothidea), Ceratocystis blight (Ceratocystis fimbriata), Corn earworm (Helicoverpa armigera), Egyptian fluted scale (Icerya aegyptiaca), Grapevine scale (Parthenolecanium persicae), Hemispherical scale (Saissetia coffeae), Indian white wax scale (Ceroplostes ceriferus), Magnolia white scale (Pseudaulacaspis cockerelli), Moth (Spulerina isonoma), Mulberry scale (Pseudoulacaspis pentagona), Muscid fly (Atherigona orientalis), Nematode (Pratylenchus loosi), Passionvine mealybug (Planococcus minor Maskell), Red wax scale (Ceroplastes Rubens), Rose scale (Aulacaspis rosae), Seychelles scale (Icerya Seychellarum), South African citrus thrips (Scirtothrips aurantii), Stellate scale  (Vinsonia stellifera), Strawberry thrip (Scirtothrips dorsalis) and Tea mosquito bug (Helopeltis pernicialis).
