Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material, including stems and leaves.

1) Vegetables are clean, trimmed, without leaves, nor stalk for root vegetables and fruit vegetables

AND

2-1) the vegetables originate, in accordance with international standards for the relevant phytosanitary measures, from areas not contaminated by the following harmful organisms:
  • Frankliniella occidentalis
  • Thrips palmi
  • Bemisia tabaci
  • Myzus persicae
  • non-European Agromyzidae
  • Quadraspidiotus perniciosus and other scale insects
OR

2.2) they have been the subject of an official inspection immediately before exportation and were found free from the harmful organisms listed in point 2-1.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Note: Area freedom certificates must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection if utilising option 1.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 8427)
1) The vegetables originate from a pest free area for Frankliniella occidentalis, Thrips palmi, Bemisia tabaci, Myzus persicae, Non-European Agromyzidae, Quadraspidiotus perniciosus and other scale insects.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 8428)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free from Frankliniella occidentalis, Thrips palmi, Bemisia tabaci, Myzus persicae, Non-European Agromyzidae, Quadraspidiotus perniciosus and other scale insects.
Import permit dated 20 August 2020.
