For in-transit cold treatment, printouts or direct electronic downloads of all temperature sensors are to be made available to the NPPO at the port of arrival in Mauritius for final clearance of the consignment.
Fruit sourced from outside PFAs must be either treated against fruit flies by in-transit or onshore cold treatment at one of the following rates:

Be fumigated with Methyl bromide at one of the following rates:
Cold treatment:
- 0 degrees Celsius, or below, for 13 days;
OR
- 0.56 degrees Celsius, or below, for 14 days;
OR
- 1.11 degrees Celsius, or below, for 18 days;
OR
- 1.67 degrees Celsius, or below, for 20 days;
OR
- 2.2 degrees Celsius, or below, for 22 days.
OR
Be fumigated with Methyl bromide at one of the following rates:
- 16 grm/m3 at 32 degrees Celsius or above for 2 hours;
OR
- 24 grm/m3 at 26 - 31.9 degrees Celsius or above for 2 hours;
OR
- 32 grm/m3 at 21 - 25.9 degrees Celsius or above for 2 hours;
OR
- 40 grm/m3 at 15 - 20.9 degrees Celsius or above for 2 hours;
OR
- 48 grm/m3 at 10 - 14.9 degrees Celsius or above for 2 hours.

1) Oriental fruit fly (Bactrocera dorsalis), Mexican fruit fly (Anastrepha ludens & Anastrepha fratercules) and West Indian fruit fly (Anastrepha mombinpraeoptans) are known not to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus).
3) Subject to in-transit cold treatment.
