Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


ICR applies to Ware potatoes only and sourced from Western Australia

The potatoes must be brushed free from soil.

Phytosanitary certificates are not be issued if potatoes contain excess levels of soil when presented for inspection.

The consignment must be exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate must be issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

1) Potato cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis) is known not to occur in the area of production,
2) Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), New Zealand black wart   (Synchytrium endobioticum), Bacterial ring rot of potato (Clavibacter michiganensis sub sp sependonicus) and Golden cysts nematode (Globodera pallida) are known not to occur in Australia.
3) Bacterial Wilt (Ralstonia solanacearum) is known not to occur in the area of production.
