A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
 

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1489)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus),
2) The fruits have originated from an area free from Queensland fruit fly (Bactrocera tyroni) (absence of fruit fly for 12 consecutive months in an 80 km radius) and found free from Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 1491)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus),
2) The fruit is subject to in-transit cold sterilization at 0oC plus or minus 0.5oC for 14 continuous days.
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 1497)
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of San Jose scale (Quadraspidiotus perniciosus),
2) The fruit has been held in cold storage at 0oC plus or minus 0.5oC for 14 continuous days.
