Seed health testing will be carried out on arrival.
- Phytophthora root and stem rot (Phytophthora sojae) is a soil-borne fungus and is not found in the Lupinus spp seed export pathway. No testing or inspection is required to determine freedom from this pest.
- Fusarium wilt of bean (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp phaseoli) is not known to occur in Australia.
- An area freedom certificate, a crop inspection report or a laboratory analysis certificate is required to endorse freedom from Phomopsis seed decay (Phomopsis longicolla) and Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava).
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate insecticide and fungicide at recommended manufacturers' requirements.
