A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Consignments must be exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate must be issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

1) Sugar cane downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sacchari), Stewart's disease (Erwinia stewartii) and Maize dwarf mosaic virus are known not to occur in Australia.
