- Beet necrotic yellow vein virus is not known to occur in Australia. No supporting evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- An area freedom certificate, a crop inspection report or a laboratory analysis certificate must be provided as evidence of freedom from Downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa), Bacterial tan spot (Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens pv. betae), Bacterial leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. aptata), Cercospora leaf spot of beet (Cercospora beticola), Verticillium wilt (Verticillium dahliae) and Black leg of beet (Phoma betae).
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Seed health testing will be carried out on arrival.
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate broad spectrum insecticide/fungicide at recommended manufacturers' requirements.
