Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Live plants should not contain any amount of soil or dried part.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Consignment must be clearly labelled with its full botanical name (genus and species).

Note: For plants with a (*) a breeding certificate should accompany the shipment and provided to the inspecting inspector on arrival for clearance in Maldives.
