Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Currently permitted entry without an accompanying import permit and/or phytosanitary certificate.

Split peas are a prescribed grain as defined in the Export Control (Plants and Plant Products) Rules 2021 Section 1-7. Therefore, consignments must be exported under an export permit and inspected by an Authorised Officer.
