A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be free from muscilagenous material (gluey stuff).

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.
Consignment is to be treated with:

  • Thiram 1 grm/100 grm seed;

OR

  • with an appropriate fungicide at manufacturers approved rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Citrus vein Phloem Degeneration (Citrus greening), Psorosis (Citrus ringspot virus), Stubborn disease (Citrus stubborn virus), Nyloporosis and Dwarf disease of Satsuma (Satsuma dwarf virus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Seeds were obtained from mother plants free from Exocortis and Wood gall.
