Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material; including unprocessed plant material, plant debris, vermin, faecal material, other animal parts, metal object and other contaminants.
The consignment must be washed or cleaned to ensure that it is free of pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material; including unprocessed plant material, plant debris, vermin, faecal material, other animal parts, metal object and other contaminants.
The exporter is to provide the evidence attesting to the washing or cleaning of the consignment and present to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Phytosanitary certificate must be issued within 14 days prior to the export of the consignment.
