Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 5502:
Endorsement 5502:
- Visual inspection by Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from live insects.
Endorsement 7839:
- Visual inspection by Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Eucalyptus borers (Phorocantha spp.).
For heat treatment core temperature of timber must be maintained at or above 56 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Treatment time does not commence until the temperature in the chamber has stabilized and the core temperature of the timber has reached a minimum of 56 degrees Celsius;

All Sawn timber must undergo fumigation with methyl bromide at the following rate:
The timber must be separated by a minimum 5mm of air space every 200mm;

Ethylene oxide under initial minimum vacuum of 50 kilopascals at the following rates:
1200 grm/m3 at 50 degree Celsius for 5 continuous hours; OR
1500 grm/m3 for 4 hours at 50 degree Celsius; OR
1500 grm/m3 for 24 continuous hours at 21 degree Celsius;
OR
Phosphine at 5 grm/m3 for 120 hours.
- 21 degrees Celsius or above at 48 grm/m3 for 24 hours;

- 16-20 degrees Celsius at 56 grm/m3 for 24 hours;
OR
- 11-15 degrees Celsius at 64 grm/m3 for 24 hours;
