Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


A phytosanitary certificate is issued only when specified on the import permit. If a phytosanitary certificate is required, it must be issued within fourteen (14) days prior to export.

NOTE: Oats—grain (whole or clipped) of Avena sativa or Avena strigosa are prescribed grains and require an export permit and the department Authorised Officer inspection before export.
