The Phytosanitary Certificate must be issued within fourteen (14) days prior to export.
Additional declarations are only to be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate when the import permit states this requirement. Import permits sighted in which there is no specific pest or diseases are to be issued with nil Additional Declaration.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Note: When endorsing area of production freedom on the phytosanitarycertificate, a statement from the respective state department is required.
