Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments are to be treated with an approved fungicide as stated on the import permit, prior to export:

  • Thiram 4 grm a.i. per 1000 grm of seeds;

OR

  • Any other fungicide approved by the Malaysian Department of Agriculture. Evidence in writing to be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Note:The import requirements reference benomyl fungicide treatment, however thereare no products containing benomyl which are registered by the AustralianPesticide and Veterinary Medicines Authority for use in Australia.
