All sawn timber must be debarked with a tolerance or allowance of up to 5%.
All timber must be debarked before export to Malaysia.
Endorsement 7839:
- Visual inspection by Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from Eucalyptus borers (Phorocantha spp).
Treatment time does not commence until the temperature in the chamber has stabilized and the core temperature of the timber has reached a minimum of 56 degrees Celsius;
OR
All the sawn timber must undergo fumigation with one of the following:
Methyl bromide at:
- 21 degrees Celsius or above at 48 grm/m3 for 24 continuous hours;
OR
- 16-20 degrees Celsius or above at 56 grm/m3 for 24 continuous hours;
OR
- 11-15 degrees Celsius or above at 64 grm/m3 for 24 continuous hours;
OR
Sulphuryl fluoride at 64 grm/m3 at 21 degree Celsius for 24 continuous hours at NAP or above;
OR
Ethylene oxide under initial minimum vacuum of 50 kilopascals at the following rates:
- 1200 grm/m3 at 50 degree Celsius for 5 continuous hours;
OR
- 1500 grm/m3 for 4 hours at 50 degree Celsius;
OR
- 1500 grm/m3 for 24 continuous hours at 21 degree Celsius;
Phosphine at 5 grm/m3 for 120 hours.
