Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 5912:
For seed produced in Queensland or any other areas where Ragweed parthenium (Parthenium hysterophorus) is known to occur, the consignment must be accompanied by either a seed analysis certificate issued by an official seed tesing authority or a Phytosanitary certificate attesting that neither Ragweed parthenium (Parthenium hysterophorus) seeds were found in the sample drawn from the consignment being exported.
Endorsement 5913:
For seed produced outside Queensland or any other areas where Ragweed parthenium (Parthenium hysterophorus) are not known to occur, the consignment must be accompanied by a Phytosanitary certificate attesting that the seed in the consignment was produced in areas where Ragweed parthenium (Parthenium hysterophorus)) are known not to occur.
Consignments are to be treated with 0.4% Thiram, 0.3% Mancozeb or 0.1% Metalaxyl at recommended manufacturer's requirements.
