Copy of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of making an appointment for inspection. The import permit number must be quoted on the phytosanitary certificate.
Scientific name of the seed can also be certified on the phytosanitary certificate as the synonym Brassica rapa (subsp. oleifera).
If specified by the import permit, consignments must be treated prior to export, and the reference number of the treatment certificate must be included on the phytosanitary certificate.
Consignments are to be fumigated onshore prior to export with phosphine at the recommended manufacturers requirements.
Fumigation of oilseeds with methyl bromide or Sulfuryl fluoride is not permitted under the Australian label requirements.
