Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

It is the exporter's responsibility to ensure the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days prior to consignment departure.

Consignments are to be treated with Thiram at 2 grm a.i per 1000 gram of seeds or any suitable fungicide at manufacturers recommended rate (approved by the Malaysian Department of Agriculture).

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
