Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

 Phytosanitary certificate must be issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.
Phytosanitary Certificate is only to be issued if specified on the import permit.

1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Ragweed parthenium (Parthenium hysterophorus) and Itch grass (Rottboellia cochinchinensis).
