Note: Import permit and phytosanitary certificate required for export of Avocados to the State of Sabah in Malaysia. For exporting Avocados to greater Malaysia refer to  fruit case Other.

Exporters to contact EXDOCPlantPrograms@agriculture.gov.au  prior to generating an RFP (request for permit to export) if exporting to the State of Sabah.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

The Phytosanitary certificate must be issued within fourteen (14) days prior to export. The import permit number is to be included in the import permit section of the Phytosanitary certificate.

Copy of the import permit must accompany the consignment.
