The importer must obtain an import license from the Animal Feed Board, Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) of Malaysia. The importer will need to submit the application via DVS's online portal for animal feed:  Sistem eAMH.

Once the import license has been issued by DVS, the exporter is to provide a copy of the import license to the Grain and Seed Export Program (Grain.Export@aff.gov.au). The department will then formally seek clarification on any further requirements that the Malaysian Department of Agriculture (DOA), as Malaysia's National Plant Protection Organisation (NPPO), may impose on the almond meal importation.
