Explanation of Endorsement

Nil endorsement:
  • If the import permit does not require an additional declaration, a phytosanitary certificate with nil endorsement will be issued.
Endorsement 7898
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Aspergillus rot (Aspergillus niger), Grey mould-rot (Botryotinia fuckeliana), Black kernel of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus) and Bud rot (Gibberella avenacea).
Consignments are to be treated with an appropriate fungicide and insecticide at recommended manufacturers requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Aspergillus rot (Aspergillus niger), Grey mould-rot (Botryotinia fuckeliana), Black kernel of rice (Cochliobolus lunatus) and Bud rot (Gibberella avenacea).
