Additional Declaration/Endorsement Yes

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Explanation of endorsement 7641:

  • Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) is known not to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.

Even if the import permit states that the grain must be fumigated, treatment is not required for Australian-origin wheat because Myanmar only requires fumigation of grains against Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and this pest is known not to occur in Australia.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7641)
1) Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) is known not to occur in Australia.
