Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds, disease symptoms and extraneous material.
Original and official translation of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.
Cuttings must be defoliated dormant bud wood only and have been produced by Auscitrus.
Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the endorsements and to present to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages / bags not previously used for any purpose and clearly labelled with the full botanical name (i.e. genus and species). Air freight shipment must state the importer name, the exporter name and the contact address in Laos PDR and clearly marked in yellow "Export from AUSTRALIA to LAO PDR, Attention Quarantine".
Consignments are to be treated with a fungicide for protection during storage and shipping.
Exporter to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and to present to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection.
Details of treatment to be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section, including product, applied rate and exposure time.
