ICR applies to the tissue cultures of the following genus:

  • Myrica rubra
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure the consignment is exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.
Plants will be subject to both visual and laboratory inspection at the port of arrival in Korea.

Containers must be sealed, pest-proof, rigid and be either clear plastic or glass.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Consignmentmust be clearly labelled with its full botanical name (genus and species).

Roots of tissue culture plants should remain stably attached to the culture medium.

1) As a result of the verification of the relevant tissue culture facility and procedures, it is acknowledged that the plants in this shipment were produced utilising tissue culture under sterile conditions.
