Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Compound feed (or mixed feed) is a composite product made of a minimum of 80% hay and/or straw with an additive to increase protein levels. Additives can include, but are not limited to, whole or crushed grains, meals and / or mineral supplements.

Phytosanitary certificate is to be issued with the details of the ingredients and to include the botanical names (under the relevant column of the phytosanitary certificate).

The description on the Phytosanitary certificate under the Name of Produce should follow example format MIXED FEED CONSISTING OF: <INGREDIENT 1, INGREDIENT 2, INGREDIENT 3 etc>. There is to be no deviation from this text format. This information must be listed in the Additional Product Description field of the RFP. 
Consignments must be inspected at the port of arrival in Korea.
