Korea is conducting on-arrival PCR testing for Pseudomonas syringae pv. atrofaciens infection in all Avena sativa seed for sowing consignments, regardless of whether the consignment has been tested for Pseudomonas syringae pv. atrofaciens in Australia under any method. Australian exporters are to ensure that Avena sativa seed for sowing exported to Korea is free of Pseudomonas syringae pv. atrofaciens.
The following seed treatments are recommended but are not mandatory for grass and vegetable seeds prior to export to the Republic of Korea. 

Treatments should be in accordance with label instructions as appropriate for seed type.  

The pesticides and dosage rates have been specified by the Republic of Korea. 

Seeds of grasses and vegetables arriving in the Republic of Korea that have not been treated are subject to delays based on inspection findings after incubation.

Exporter should consider one of the following:
  • Benoram WP (Benlate T) coating with 0.3 percent of seed weight
  • Thiram WP (Homai) coating with 0.3 percent of seed weight
  • Carboram D (Vitathiram) coating with 0.25 percent of seed weight
  • Captafol WP (Difolatan) coating with 0.3 percent of seed weight
  • Captan WP (Orthocide) coating with 0.25 percent of seed weight
  • Mancozeb WP (Dithane M-45) coating with 0.3 percent of seed weight
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
